The history of Rawlins centers around the Union Pacific Railroad, Lincoln Highway, The Overland Trail, Oregon Trail, Mormon Trail, coal and mining exploration, multiple pioneers, outlaws and Native Americans.  Rawlins is surrounded by "Western Tradition" with fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding and camping located close to the property.  We are located near the Carbon County Museum which contains the only Thomas Edison exhibit in the State of Wyoming.   Golfing is available at the Rochelle Ranch Gold Course. Trap, skeet, a five stand shotgun facility and a 300 yard shooting range are available at the Rawlins Outdoor Shooting Complex.
